The remanufactured rear brake caliper for the Mercedes-Benz E-Class W214 left side is rebuilt to OEM specifications using the original housing. Features a new piston, all seals, bleed nipple and slide pins. The integrated electric parking brake motor is tested for correct operation before despatch.

2. Connect scan tool and release EPB before removal

4. Lift vehicle and remove rear wheel

6. Disconnect EPB motor connector

8. Remove brake hose banjo bolt — plug hole immediately

10. Remove caliper guide pin bolts (T45)

12. Remove caliper and pads

14. Install new caliper with new banjo copper washers

16. Torque banjo bolt to 28Nm

18. Reconnect EPB connector

20. Torque guide pins to 35Nm

22. Bleed rear brake circuit
23. 12
24. Use scan tool to initialise new EPB caliper.
