The ZF 8HP automatic gearbox service kit for the BMW 3 Series G20 contains everything needed to perform a proper transmission fluid service. Includes the spin-on transmission oil filter, a new aluminium sump pan gasket and drain plug seal. Recommended service interval is every 60,000km.

- Warm gearbox with 20km drive

- Drain transmission fluid via drain plug

- Remove sump pan bolts (Torx T27)

- Remove old pan and gasket
- 5
- Remove spin-on filter
- 6
- Install new filter and torque to 10Nm
- 7
- Clean pan and install with new gasket
- 8
- Torque pan bolts in star pattern to 8Nm
- 9
- Refill with ZF Lifeguard 8 fluid (7.5L)
- 10
- Check fluid level at operating temperature via overflow plug.
